In particular, the business has a reputation for helping customers develop practical solutions to engineering issues. From a Brisbane head office, the business services clients throughout Australia and the South Pacific. The company operates from a purpose-built manufacturing facility in Brisbane, is lead by a stable, experienced management team and continues to enjoy strong growth, despite the current economic conditions.
You will take ownership of a key customer base across QLD, WA, SA and NT. While growing existing relationships will be the bulk of your activity, you will also strategically identify and pursue new business opportunities and prospective customers. You will be supported by experienced Engineering, Internal Sales and Production teams and work closely with the companys Managing Director and Commercial Manager. While travel to SA and NT will be infrequent (perhaps twice a year to each), you will travel to WA relatively frequently (perhaps quarterly), as well as to regional QLD.
You hold trade or tertiary Electrical or Electronics qualifications and your technical background ideally involves experience in the electricity supply, industrial and/or mining sectors. You can demonstrate a proven history of success in selling into the above markets, and a specific background in selling to electricity supply authorities will be particularly well-regarded.
